UK Firewood Delivery Information

To ensure that your delivery runs smoothly please take a moment to read this important delivery information.

National deliveries

For large national deliveries we use a third party pallet delivery network, for smaller deliveries we use UPS national courier service.

Delivery vehicle.

National pallet delivery is made using our third party haulier, using a 3.5 ton van or a 7.5 ton truck with a tail lift.

These trucks are 8.5 metres in length and they require 2.8 metres of width access to safely enter a road or driveway.

Your goods are delivered on a pallet and left as close to your front door or log store as possible.

If the delivery vehicle cannot access your property the pallet is left kerbside.

Access requirements.

Most of our orders require pallet delivery, the pallet is moved from the delivery vehicle using a pallet pump truck pushed by hand.

These pump trucks cannot operate on steep inclines or on gravel or grass.

If the pump truck cannot operate, the pallet will be left kerbside.

Refused Delivery. Important.

If a delivery is refused by a customer because kerbside delivery is not acceptable and the order is returned a refund is given minus the initial delivery charge plus the return charge.

Delivery time

Time of delivery is between 8am and 8pm unless a Saturday  delivery has been specified.

Delivery options.

Standard 2 day pallet delivery is free to UK the UK mainland (excluding Scottish Highlands), next day delivery and Saturday delivery is charged at an extra cost as shown in the checkout page.

Next day delivery is available for orders placed before 10am, orders placed after this time will processed the following day and delivered the day after this.

For a Saturday delivery your order must be placed no later than Wednesday – any orders requesting a Saturday delivery that are placed on a Thursday or Friday will be delivered on the Saturday of the following week.
