A COVID-19 update

Sometimes it feels like we’re living through history, and it’s fair to say that this feeling applies now. 

Things have changed a lot since our last blog post, in ways we could barely have imagined a fortnight ago – let alone at the start of the year.

But it’s times like this that people come together. Humanity shines through, and we look for ways to get ourselves and each other through challenging times. This is something we’re seeing already, even while the government fumbles its way toward a response. Community support groups are popping up. Artists and authors are making their concerts and books available online for free. People are asking elderly neighbours whether they need help.

So although almost everything is up in the air, we wanted to do everything in our power to put your mind at rest.

Current Logwise Firewood orders

We are very busy supplying orders that have already been placed by new and existing customers. 

We’re aiming to meet planned delivery times and we’ll be in touch if this is likely to change. But if you are waiting for an order, please bear with us. 

Ordering firewood online

Logwise Firewood is still open for business, and we are still delivering logs. Product information on the website is still correct, and our log yard is brimming with ready-to-burn wood. 

For those of you who are self-isolating, you should know that orders can be completed in their entirety with no human contact. Orders can be placed online or by phone, and delivery can be arranged to leave your firewood or accessories at a designated drop-off point. No face-to-face contact with the delivery driver, and no need to sign.

Stay safe

Beyond that, there’s not much left for us to say except – stay safe. Look after yourself and those around you. Follow NHS guidelines and keep an eye on government updates. And let yourself enjoy the things that make life lovely – a nice, warm log fire, for example.
